Your work with us will consist of you finding your way through your darkest pain or doubt so that you can return to a full life, more deeply connected to your authentic self.
We are happy to offer a free 30 minute initial consultation to all individuals interested in pursuing psychotherapy or counseling. This gives you a chance for a face to face meeting to get a feel for working with me, as well as completing the necessary paperwork.
Individual Therapy $200.00/session
Individual therapy takes place in a one-on-one setting. Each session lasts approximately 50-55 minutes. Sessions on a weekly basis are optimal and recommended, but alternative scheduling can be discussed.
In-Home Therapy $360.00/session
Individual therapy that takes place in your home. This is reserved for patients that are house-bound for some reason. These services require transportation costs (thus the increased fee) and are only available if you live within 10 miles of downtown Denver.
Teletherapy $200.00/session
Psychotherapy conducted via telephone or secure and encrypted video conferencing via webcam.
Couples Therapy $250.00/session
In-person or teletherapy services for couples. Each session lasts approximately 50-55 minutes. Sessions are on a weekly basis.
Reduced Rate Psychotherapy $100.00 (SE HABLA ESPAÑOL)
Psychotherapy services with intern Hector Trevizo, MA, LPCC, are offered at a reduced rate. Héctor ofrece servicios en español.
Additional Services
Document review and preparation $50 per 15 minutes
There may be times when you require previous medical or psychological files be reviewed, or you may need me to prepare a document for you relevant to your treatment with me. These services take time in order to be completed thoroughly and properly.
Legal Testimony $3000.00/hour
There may be times where you ask me to testify in a court of law for various reasons. I will always discourage this practice simply because it will cause significant damage to the therapeutic process. Keeping your confidentiality is of the utmost importance and all rights to confidentiality get waived if I testify. However, sometimes this is unavoidable. There is a minimum charge of 1 hour, and the service fee includes transportation, file review, document preparation, consultation, and testimony.
Clinical Supervision $120.00
One of the most valuable experiences of my education was working with excellent supervisors. As a licensed psychologist, providing this service to other psychology graduate students has been a rewarding way for me to give back. I am Jungian in my approach to supervision and believe the process of providing good therapy is having a good relationship with your own unconscious.
Insurance
Pepe Santana only accepts Optum/United, Medicare, Humana and Tricare.
Before you use your health insurance to pay for psychotherapy, there are some limitations of which you should be aware. Using an insurance company to pay for services comes with some limits to your confidentiality. Third party payers require information from doctors in order to decide to pay for services; information like diagnoses and details about therapy sessions. Insurance companies may also share this information with affiliate companies. This unfortunately puts them in a position to be able to dictate the course and timeframe of your therapy. These concerns are important to mention, because confidentiality and trust are essential to an effective therapeutic process. Treatment decisions are best left between you and your therapist, without undue influence from a third party. While I understand the financial strain of paying for your psychotherapy yourself, I encourage you to consider this option given the personal and intimate nature of the therapeutic process. If you choose to pay out of pocket, I am happy to provide an invoice for tax purposes or to submit to your insurance for out of network reimbursement.
